Facebook and Instagram open up to breast-feeding and post-mastectomy photo

Facebook and Instagram open up to breast-feeding and post-mastectomy photo . Facebook has quietly reversed its controversial stances on breast-feeding and post-mastectomy photos – even ones showing nipples. . The social network, which has received protests on their very own site in response to their previous take-down policy for these photos, appears to have caved to an online campaign and changed its tune a couple weeks ago. Facebook-owned Instagram has loosened its policy too. . Here’s the new policy regarding photos of mothers breast-feeding: . Does Facebook allow photos of mothers breastfeeding? Yes. We agree that breastfeeding is natural and beautiful and we’re glad to know that it’s important for mothers to share their experiences with others on Facebook. The vast majority of these photos are compliant with our policies. Please note that the photos we review are almost exclusively brought to our attention by other Facebook members who complain about them being shared on Facebook.  . Here’s the new policy regarding post-mastectomy photos: . Does Facebook allow post-mastectomy photos? Yes. We agree that undergoing a mastectomy is a life-changing experience and that sharing photos can help raise awareness about breast cancer and support the men and women facing a diagnosis, undergoing treatment or living with the scars of cancer. The vast majority of these kinds of photos are compliant with our policies. .   What about Instagram? . Instagram has also loosened its stance on breast-feeding and post-mastectomy photos. . While archives of the site show Instagram’s old policies noted that photos including fully exposed breasts where the child was not actively engaged in nursing or breasts that were unaffected by surgery violated its Community...

The big success of Napoleone200 with Instatour and Instagramers Italia

The big success of Napoleone200 with Instatour and Instagramers Italia (and the big fun we had…)  . Elba island, here we go! . 20 European Instagramers were invited by @instatour @igersitalia and Acqua dell Elba Perfumes to visit Elba, an island in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Tuscany, Italy, to celebrate #napoleone200. Napoleon lived in Elba for 300 days and gave a lot to the island in terms of economic and social reforms and we had the chance to get to know the island inside out! . Here’s the resume of a trip to remember! . . Pictures are nice… but a video can be even nicer! Video from @stailuan (Freelance Graphic Designer & Grafitti writer) . . . A Getaway in Elba Island @tianapix (born in Hawaii, raised in Miami and now captured in Italy, living in Florence) . . Ritorno all’Elba con Napoleone @ilarysgrill (exploring Marche, Traveller, Instagramers Italia Founder) . . Instagramers behind the scenes at Acqua dell Elba Perfumes @kimstamatic (Dutchy in Madrid, writing for instagramers.com) . . Let’s go on another #instatourtrip soon again!...

@kimstamatic from instagramers.com featured in Estrella Damm’s new summer spot! . Pack your bags and…. Go! . So what do you do when Estrella Damm (@estrelladammes) invites you to come over to cover and celebrate, during an entire weekend on an idyllic beach in the Costa Brava, (Catalunya, Spain) the shooting of their new Summer spot about year’s most cultural event; Santa Clara Fest? . . Of course, you don’t hesitate a minute and you invite your friends too. In my case, I called my spanish instagramers friends: @aangueraroig from Tarragona @claramon from Valencia @photolari from Barcelona @pauliii28 from Leon @pablodmartin  from Zaragoza @iphilar from Girona @albertomakusikusi from Bilbao @cucocuervo from Madrid . We packed our cameras and we went to shoot some stunning shots! You can find all pictures on Instagram here: #entrenaelalma #entrenalànima (“Entrena el alma” is Spanish for “Train the soul”) . Santa Clara Fest . Santa Clara Fest is a cultural festival celebrated, this year on the beach in the Costa Brava, together with Estrella Damm, Spain’s most Mediterranean beer, made in Barcelona. . When we arrived at the beach the first band was already playing and the sound of summer embraced us… . It was Me & The Bees. Their music is best to describe as hyper vitamined Pop, full of catchy and complex sounds. We took off our shoes and started to dance right away! Another band that played during the weekend was Calido Home, a lovely Guitar Duo that plays with intensity, freshness, tenderness and darkness. The mix of these four ingredients makes their music unique. I also became very fond of Coriolà, hipster boys playing clear and bright pop with touches of magic,...
