I am Alexander Shmakoff. Made in USSR, Leningrad, 1978 (Now – Russia, Saint-Petersburg).
During the day, I work in a small advertising agency which I founded. We specialize in design, naming, branding and polygraphy.
In my free time I like to experiment with photos, graphics and a little bit music.
All of my artworks are based on spontaneous imagery ideas and I really love vivid colors.
I tend to use simple lines and strong colors to explain express different emotions.
Most of my pieces can be best described as Digital Art or Digital IOS App Art, and I extensively use iPhone, iPad and different IOS Apps to create them.

Pictures that made you like on Instagram: I like everything associated with surreal and abstract vision
Pictures that must be forbidden on Instagam: All pictures with a evil connotation. And I don’t like pictures of dishes, clothes, shoes, nails etc.
An improvement for Instagram: More user support.
Life without Instagram would be: Colorless
An Instagram user we cannot miss: @matthewcustar He started an interesting project: “ABSTRACT: 365 daily design project iPhone only”. Every day he creates a new abstraction and I love his style.

Describe your best picture on Instagram: I can’t choose my favorite picture. I like them all in different ways. Some kind of emotions, occasions and spirits associated with almost every picture.

How did you take it, any interesting anecdote?: All my artwork is based on spontaneous imagery ideas and I really love to experiment with different Apps to create something creative, unusual and colorful.
Techniques and equipment used: I use my iPhone 5, many different Apps for editing and a little bit of Photoshop (sometimes only, to maintain a high resolution of images).
