InstagramHub, the founder interview.

Instagramers.com already featured most of the Instagram Third Parties Apps founders like Webstagram, Inkstagram, Statigram or Extragram and many more but we supported too people like @Luka04 of @photooftheday or creative groups like Ampt, Juxt or Idea Exchange.

Today we talk about @InstagramHub. In Fact, InstagramHub has a lot of  similarities with our Instagramers website. Since it´s origin. A project born to help Igers with best practices and sharing tips.

You have probably heard about @InstagramHub before in Instagram. Let´s know a little bit more about Garrison, its founder and his team.

His name is Garrison Goh.

.

He is from Singapore. Singapore is a real active area in terms of use of Instagram. Like most of us, he started IG somewhere in July 2011 with a personal account of @ggkp_ih and then decided to spend his time helping other people. We asked him some questions about his project.

Which is the main idea of InstagramHub?

.

Since the real beginning, I realized few issues in Instagram and  i thought I could be of certain help to a group of Users who has little followers but make good works. Therefore I started Instagram Hub under the user ID @instagramhub on August 2011. In merely less than 6 months,@instagramhub received miracles support from IG users as it now has more than 20,000 followers and more than a million wonderful photos tagged into hashtag #instagramhub.

The main idea of Instagram Hub is to be the Hub of Instagram where everyone gather to share.

Which is the main value for InstagramHub followers?

.

Users get to see our daily posting of Winners, enjoy our Hub Apps and Hints, learn photo editing methods, enjoy our live interview with Special Guest and more… The Hub currently provides the following services:
Daily Hub Features (Photos Selected from #instagramhub hash tag),  The Instagram Hub Challenge and The Hubsters Challenge (Sponsored by  @stickygram, @casetagram and @keepsy) , Hub Hints (Every Monday & Friday) This program is to provide user basic knowledge on how to use Instagram, how to be a good Iger, useful and free apps etc… Hub Editing Live Interview (Every Tuesday, this program is to invite a Guest into the Hub and share his photo editing method with the users and allowing users to have Q&A with the Guest) and soon  we will launch Photo101, to provide photography training for users…

How long time do you spend in the project daily?

.

From the time I am awake till I sleep… About   15-16 hours?  However, as I believe a good Hub needs more support, I began to seek for Hub Members to assist the Hub so that being a Instagram Hub, we are able to provide IG users as many programs, information as possible.To date, I have 12 wonderful Igers assisting me namely @jt1114_ih, @jo3010_1h, @laurenepbath_ih, @nehjismyname_ih, @pascal_t_ih, @missstefny_ih, @yoyona_ih, @jwtong_ih, @st_photography_ih, @kencastro_ih and @sellinas10_ih.

Do you have still time to post as a usual user to Instagram?

.

To be frank, there are a few occasions I stopped my own account @ggkp_ih but a lot of my Instagram friends sparred me to continue. As at lately, I dun post at a stretch of a long period and I will only do that when I am really very free.

Which will be next steps of InstagramHub?

.

I would like to continue developing more programs to motivate Instagram Users and to construct the Hub in a better place for Hubsters to share their love for Instagram. I am doing all this just as a great hobby and I agreed it’s not easy to maintain a good Team and provide services to the users regularly but we are currently doing our best and hope to achieve another level.
