@Johanr Born in Belgium and Belgian, he lived in Denmark fir many years and now he lives and works in Tokyo.
Johan a.k.a in Instagram as @Johanr is a multiskilled man. He is photographer, director, developer and entrepreneur. I met his Instagram Stream by chance. Besides being a good photographer and offering us good quality works, what really catched my attention was his condition of european citizen living in Japan.

We were recently thinking about launching our Japanese Instagramers Group and I was trying to discover new artists from there.
I took contact with him and kept his contact in my agenda for a potential next post. Weeks after, he contacted by mail. He wanted to introduce me a project, a nice one, a human one. And i thought it would be a good idea to support his idea and his project.

What is #thisisJapan project?
.
First, you have to know that Johan is exploring emerging technologies to improve the digital landscape with engaging creative solutions.
.
The main idea Johan had is to create a photo book from Instagram users pics (available for picplz users too) tagged with a specific hashtagscalled #thisisjapan .
Of course, only pics of those instagramers who would give their permission to.
The book would be available as a downloadable e-book and on demand print version. Hashtags would be #thisisjapan across all media and also あらゆるメディアで、#thisisjapanのハッシュタグをお使いください。

All proceeds from the book would go to charity organisations such as Second Harvest Japan and others doing great work in the Tohoku area.
