Instagram Users from London Course Hold Exhibition

.

Twenty London Instagramers are holding an exhibition of their work at the gallery of Kensington and Chelsea College from November 6-11.

.

All the Instagramers in the exhibition were students on the college’s iphoneography course, which was launched last February and has run three times and will be held again this Autumn.

.

The 5-week course introduces students to basic iphone photography techniques and launches them into the vibrant Instagram community. The exhibition will showcase around 100 of their best works, some of which can be viewed here.

Course leader and curator of the exhibition, Richard Gray (@rugfoot on Instagram), said:

“iPhoneography has moved on from being simple point-and-shoot photography to both a sophisticated art form and an engaging hobby for millions on Instagram. The iPhone camera has unleashed amazing creativity in the students and we are very proud to present their work in a traditional photography format. Many people are unaware of the creative potential of iPhoneography and we hope this exhibition goes some way to changing that perception. We would like to thank our exclusive sponsors, The Print Space, for their generous support for the exhibition.”

A private view of the exhibition will be held on November 6.
