On January 26th, Margaux and Matthieu, in charge of the digital public relations of the French-speaking Swiss Television (Radio Télévision Suisse or RTS @radiotelevisionsuisse) invited the main French-speaking IGers teams of Switzerland (namely @IGersGeneva and @IGersLausanne) along with @IGersSwiss to enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes visit of the Geneva based broadcasting studios and offices. We were lucky enough to allow several of our followers to be invited as well, so every team selected two or three random winners.

During the more than three hours visit, our guide Christianne showed us the most important recording studios (sports, news, entertainment, etc.), plus some newsrooms and technical rooms, including secret locations such as “le Couloir de la Brévine” (sorry, you must be a local to understand the joke…). We enjoyed listening to Massimo Lorenzi, responsible for the sports programs as he explained us the challenges he faces every day. We also met Darius Rochebin @darius_rochebin, the main presenter of the evening news (#19h30), who was kind enough to take a “selfie” with us and publish it on his own gallery. (group photo featured on this post too!)

And finally we met Philippe Jeanneret “the weather man” for an interesting talk, letting us have fun playing the “weather man” with the chroma key (green background).
Finally everyone enjoyed a well deserved refreshing collation on the very top of the tower building with an amazing view on the city by night.

Most of the pictures taken during this visit can be seen by browsing the hashtag #RTSCoulisses on Instagram.

@IGersSwiss, @IGersGeneva, @IGersLausanne and all participants (@26ofjune.px, @christellexu, @embgab_,  @jeremyspierer, @jika2001, @jujubou, @kama_1969, @karbonkid,  @lisa_frisco_photography, @thenmh, @tizzia, @zellersamuel) would like to warmly thank our RTS hosts: @mademoiselle_margaux  & @chmatco and our guide @christiannebauer. We are looking forward to seeing you again !
