El 20 de junio tuvimos la gran oportunidad de repetir el evento anual de presentación de los nuevos artistas de la Instagramers Gallery y en esta ocasión celebrar el quinto aniversario de nuestra exposición permanente en la Fundación Telefónica. Tuvimos la gran suerte de disfrutar de la presencia de la ilustradora extremeña Alicia Aradilla (@a.aradilla) , el actor (y Goya 2014 al actor revelación) Javier Pereira (@javierpereiraoficial) y el periodista Paco Nadal (@paconadal) entrevistados por Phil González así como de la presencia de Kimberly Sunster (@kimberleepower) coordinadora de la @igersgallery. With more than 600 Instagramers groups in 80 countries, Instagramers (aka @Igers) community was the first Instagram’s fans community launched ever. Our hashtag #igers is up to 240 million pics on Instagram! We made tons of friends, we married people, we had dozens of “Instababies”, fruit of thousands of Instameets around the world. We want to celebrate our 8th anniversary with you all! . 2010 seems so long time ago. Let´s have a “revival”! . 2010: We were less than 3 or 4 million Instagram lovers around the planet. Instagram was a place where mobile photography was reigning and thousands of users around the world wanted to go further than a social media friendship built through pictures. They were eager to meet each other in “the real life”. . Our Igers (a.k.a Instagramers) groups of Madrid, Portland, Barcelona, London turned to be the really first promotors of a spontaneous and worldwide instameets movement on Instagram. So good memories! Today things have changed a lot on Instagram, we are more than 1.000 million users and our behaviours and interests are really different from 2010 but Instagramers Networks still supports the idea that “not everything is based on funny stories, using masks, running after followers and likes”. PEOPLE are still important too. . Let´s celebrate a new Worldwide Instameet! Our own #IgersWorldInstameet! . Last May, 21, 22 and 23 we had the great opportunity to congregate part of our Instagramers France team in Nice, Côte d´Azur for a fantastic week end. . Thanks to the Comité Régional du Tourisme (@visitcotedazur) and particularly Severine KRESS (and don´t forget to use their tag #cotedazurfrance if you visit!) and thanks too, to our local partners we could discover the best places around Nice and make great shots we tagged with #biginstameetignice . #MeetAndPhil La semana pasada celebramos un fantástico Instameet (etiquetado como #MeetAndPhil en esta ocasión) en la Instagramers Gallery de Madrid! Ya llevabamos un tiempo sin evento en la Instagramers Gallery desde nuestro último encuentro en la instagramers gallery así que queríamos volver a lo grande y así lo hicimos con este #MeetAndPhil! . Después de la introducción por parte de Elena González (@elenaescocia) de la Fundación Telefónica, el fundador de Instagramers, Phil Gonzalez (@philgonzalez) llevó a cabo una amena charla con los invitados de excepción a los cuales agradecemos su presencia de nuevo en ese evento. Kimberly Sunster (@kimberleepower) presentó también la renovación de la propuesta artística de la Instagramers Gallery con sus nuevos artistas españoles e internacionales y anunció nuestro nuestro nuevo concurso de street photography llamado #LeicaContest (todos los detalles aquí) Esta vez también hemos podido contar con la presencia de invitados excepcionales como José María Mellado (@jmmellado), famoso fotógrafo español y de su mujer y fotógrafa también Claudia González (@claudia_gonzalez_fotografia) así como de la sonrisa y el buen rollo de Isabel Llano (@Isasaweis), una de las Youtubers más famosas y de las más enganchadas a Instagram. Por fin, fue un honor recibir a Alberto Chicote (@albertochicote), uno de los chefs más mediáticos y usuarios de Instagram que nos habló de sus proyectos profesionales pero también de su relación con la app Instagram en el día, a día. Como en anteriores ocasiones, las charlas dieron paso a un evento con cóctel y buena música de la mano de DJ Bombín.
