Instacanvas sells your Instagram Pics on Canvas.

.

There is dozens of platforms or web browsers that give you many possibilities of using your Instagram Pics. You can see most of them here in our links section. Magnets, stickers, books and even posters.

.
The latest proposal is InstaCanvas that lets you create your own artist gallery. You have just to be registered  in Instagram in InstaCanvas, you can create your art work gallery and other users will be able to order and receive them printed on Canvas that looks pretty cool.

A good idea to get an economic benefit to your daily Instagram work or simply a nice idea for a gift.

You can visit InstaCanvas here.

  1. So is this up and running? I signed up for my URL and can’t figure out how to navigate the site to make my photos available for purchase.

    • The company allows you to create the gallery and in a few day will launch the service, according to their comments, Thanks!

  2. Hey. I can’t figure out how to navigate the site either. I reserved my URL and I just get the page that shows the photo that says, “Help me become the featured artist.” This site seems like an amazing idea. I can’t wait to get started if I can ever figure it out. lol

  4. Hi everyone! Matt here from the Instacanv.as team. Sorry for the confusion. @philgonzalez is correct, we haven’t launched quite yet. Site will be launching with a small number of galleries this week. We’ll then roll out additional galleries quickly. Demand has been tremendous, so thanks to all of you for your excitement!

  6. I reserved my URL and a couple of days ago I received an email from them saying that my gallery was ready to be set up. Then I just had to choose which of my my IG pics I wanted to sell and it was done.
Now instead of the message ““Help me become the featured artist.” I have the gallery with my pics.
Very easy set up and brilliant idea! I am so excited!

  7. Hi Everyone! Matt here from Instacanv.as again.

Desiree, welcome to the site! Love your work.

To everyone else, we launched the first 70 galleries last week. The next 100 galleries will launch in the next few days most likely. We are releasing to most requested galleries first.

Within the next two weeks, we’ll start rolling out requested galleries much more aggressively. We’re working on the features and scalability of the site right now to make sure it’s as great as possible for everyone!

    Thanks for your excitement 🙂

    • Hi Tui,

It totally depends on the week. With each rollout, we release the top requested galleris that are not yet opened.

We’re doing a bunch of releases this week and next, so hopefully we can get you set up!

    Thanks laura

    • Instacanvas passes on to you, the artist, 20% of the sale price for each item sold. We handle the printing, boxing, and shipping, so all you have to worry about is taking more awesome photos.

  14. What happens to the people that sell their work and it came straight from google images? Surely it’s not fair to sell images taken from a website?

    Reply
    • Let us know if you see this happening on any of our galleries. This is grounds for account cancellation. Thanks!

  15. my gallery just opened today. I was very excited about it since I have been wanting to print some of my Instagram images for myself, and some family members wanted to place orders too. However, I am in Canada and the cost of shipping is absolutely ridiculous. It cost as much as my order. We’re better off to find a local printer to do it. Too bad.

  17. Once an instacanvas has been opened and people can by the art, does the owner of the art get paid for it?

    Reply
  18. So let me get this straight, they make 80 percent of the profit?

    Reply
    • Liz, the 20% share is off gross revenue. The artist doesn’t incur the cost of building the frame, printing the canvas, transaction fees, shipping, web hosting, email infrastructure, customer support, etc. etc. So no, the we don’t make an 80% profit on each sale…but we wish we did 🙂

  19. So we don’t get credit for our art?

    • Joelle,

I’m not sure I correctly understand your question. Instacanvas passes on to artists 20% of the sale price for each item sold. We handle the printing, boxing, and shipping, so all you have to worry about is taking more awesome photos.

  23. Why is there a $100 threshold. We do the hard work taking these photos. You might see it as we just take a picture but i actually get up very early, drive to a location, set up and then wait patiently for the right time which sometimes never comes. I see this as sometimes hard work so why should you benefit when i wont?

So, What happens if you sell some canvases but not enough to make $100? Do you ever get paid?

    Reply
  24. And what happens to the rights on the picture, are they transferred to you as this is a very grey area.

  25. Please open my gallery. I would love to get started using this service and roll out awesome pics for my fans!!

    • Hey Everyone!

      Sean here from Instacanv.as 🙂

@Queen A – send an email to artists@instacanv.as and let us know your username and I’ll personally check into your account asap!

@Deanna – Artists are paid their sales commissions via Pay Pal.

In order to maximize the payments to our artists, we send payments at the end of every week where your total accrued earning is over $100. We do this simply to minimize transaction costs as well as the management cost of issuing many smaller payments.

Afraid you won’t hit $100 anytime soon? Not to worry, we’ll be doing regular payouts for all accounts below $100 to bring all balances to $0. This will likely be done quarterly, although we’re still finalizing the system.

We’re also working on functionality that would allow you to withdraw your balance at any time.

To set up your Pay Pal info, go to your Gallery, click on the “settings” tab, than click on the “account settings” tab and you should be able to follow the directions from there.

      Hope this helps 🙂

  30. Team Instacanv.as,

Thanks for answering so many questions! I don’t recall reading a question on regards to copyright, the artist keeping all rights after a sale. I am super excited to hopefully soon get my Gallery open but am uneasy, to be honest, that the question has been asked more than once but not answered.

Could you please help put my mind to rest?

    Thanks! Much appreciated!!

Easiest way is to take a screenshot of it and then post to your IG account. We’re working on some mechanisms to make this easier and more intuitive.

  35. Hi guys!!!
I have recently signed up with Instacanv.as
And would like to ask a few questions, so if you could just take a minute I your time to answer these queries, I would really appreciate it…
Firstly – I was just wondering how long it would take to finally get my instacanv.as gallery open? And also, my friends and family have all clicked the “request gallery opening” button, but they say that it might not be working as they can revisit the sight and click the button again?
Secondly – I was just wondering whether the prints were high quality or not?
Yet again, thanks for reading, and even more thanks for answering…
And I would appreciate it if you could just turn my frown upside down by visiting http://www.instacanv.as/gmahapatra and clicking the request button, thanks!!!
