Some funny questions!
You are: Just a normal person.
You would like to be: May be not as normal as I am.
3 items to take to a desert island: A sleeping bag, a fishing rod and a box of matches.
What has been your most bizarre life experience: Sitting next to someone having exactly the same first and family name as me…, weird!
A super power would you like to have: Being able to go back to the past with the eyes of someone living in 2016 and a camera.
If you ruled the world: Life is too short… so I would increase the life expectancy of at least 20 years.

In ‘real’ life
Happy alone, in love, married or it’s complicated: Not married but in love with the mother of my two kids.
You love: Read the news with a cup of coffee in a typical Parisian café.
You can’t stand: Rainy days.
A song that best describes you: I really don’t know…
Your hobbies: Well… all what is pleasant!
A trip you dream of: Driving a pick-up car on the “National Route 40” in Argentina, from North to South.
A quote: About photography – “Bored with obvious reality, I find my fascination in transforming it into a subjective point of view.
Without touching my subject I want to come to the moment when, through pure concentration of seeing, the composed picture becomes ‘more made than taken’. […] Less descriptive, more creative. Less informative, more suggestive. Less prose, more poetry.” (Ernst Hass, April 1966).
A wish: Going to New York one of these days…
Some-one you admire: Henri Cartier-Bresson.
What more must we know about you in one phrase:
As my grand-father used to say: “In life there are two kinds of people, those who speak and those who do”. I hope to be in the second group.

Your life on Instagram
Your Instagram birthday: 160 weeks ago (*this was in January 2016 when we realized the interview.)
iPhone, Android, DSLR: iPhone.
Did Instagram change your life in some way: In some way yes, by creating some opportunities and meeting some very nice and interesting people.
Instagram for professional or personal use: Personal.
Define your style in one word: Classic.
Daily time spent on Instagram: 30 minutes.
Favorite hashtag: #streetphotography
—
A filter: no filter.
An App: Hipstamatic.
A gadget: No gadget.
Pictures that make you laugh on Instagram: People’s gallery that are dedicated to only one topics, object, view…
Pictures that must be forbidden on Instagram: The guys that make selfies in their bathroom showing their abs.
An improvement for Instagram: A better extension for desktop with the opportunity to create galleries, to show series of pictures, to tell stories, with different layouts…
Life without Instagram would be: The life before Instagram.
An Instagram user we can’t miss: @ekinik

Describe your favorite picture:
“It’s not my favorite one, but I like it because it shows how “mobile photography” has changed the way we can take pictures now: being seated just next to someone you don’t know and shoot a portrait without being noticed. Liberty and secrecy: two rare things that allow you to open your eyes differently.”
Techniques used:
“No techniques: eyes wide open, then point and shoot.”
What do you think of being a new artist in the Instagramers Gallery in Madrid?
“I’m really honored! And happy to see some of my pictures quitting the virtual life of Instagram to enter the real one in Madrid.”
