We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s first Instagramers Gallery contest: #NascaLinesEverywhere; the pictures are now exhibited at the Instagramers Gallery in Madrid!

In the arid southern Peruvian coast, more than a thousand years ago, one of the most fascinating cultures of ancient Peru arose: Nasca. Since its discovery it has dazzled the world with the enormous and mysterious drawings known as lines or traces that this civilization left in the desert landscape that surrounded it.

With reason of the exhibition ‘Nasca. Buscando huellas en el desierto‘, (‘Nasca. Looking for prints in the desert’) which can be visited at Espacio Fundación Telefónica until May 19th, we invited you to search, create and share images inspired by these “traces of the past”, lines printed in our current landscape.
