Instagram hits 100 million followers according to Mark Zuckeberg
..
Our fav Photo-sharing app Instagram finally hit its first 100 million users mark much before its second anniversary (16 oct 2012) according to Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
“They’re this super-talented bunch of engineers, they just crossed 100 million users,” Mark Zuckerberg told the audience at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. He added “They’re just killing it.”
Last official information we received from both Instagram and Facebook staff were that the app was up to 80 million users and 4 billion photographs uploaded.
After a fast increase due to new Android version beating marks up and registering more than five million new users per week it seems that App is now adding around 10 million downloads a month showing a “foreseeable” stabilization of the growth.
According to Mashable, “for Zuckerberg, that still isn’t enough. “We want to help them grow to hundreds of millions of users,” he said, vowing that the company would not be overly integrated into the Facebook infrastructure” . It seems that Instagram Team recently moved to Facebook HQ too”.
Hope Instagram will keep its original flavor…
